In an upgrade from Madden 22, players can now scout multiple positions at each stage of the process, rather than only scouting one position at a time. Madden now has 260 scouts overall and 100 just for free agency after having 50 free agency scouts in past years. Expect players to respond accordingly, of course. Player tags will be awarded to players based on their status in the league. Ultimately, team motivation has to match player motivation. While money will always play a part in it, a myriad of factors may bring a player to a team. Where Madden 22 simply boiled down to "the team who offers the most gets the player," player motivations will now factor in ring chasing, legacy, scheme fit, playing potential, proximity to home, state taxes, and weather, among other factors.
